An extra large gourd bowl is inscribed in the Didot typeface with the couple’s personalities and interests, an idea brought to me by my friend Lena, the gift-giver. The couple’s names and the date of the wedding are applied to the bottom of the bowl:

Les & Tommy met and fell in love at a restaurant in Boston, and decided to have their engagement party there as well. From the engagement party’s invitation, I scanned the images of the silverware, and the Roman date of the party, and applied them to a set of gourd bowls. A keepsake to use daily, and remember the first time the couple met.

The couple’s initials are inscribed on the two larger gourd bowls, and their daughter’s initials on the smallest:
Another option has the couple’s names on the largest bowl, the date of their wedding on the medium one, and the word "love" on the smallest bowl.
